For the academic year 2023–2024, Berkeley Law School of the University of California is now providing a number of scholarships for international students. In partnership with renowned international organizations, scholarships are financed. You can take advantage of this chance to study in the United States for free or at a reduced cost.
Each year, outstanding admitted LL.M. students are given scholarships from the Advanced Degree Programs Office based on merit or citizenship. Decisions regarding scholarships are made at the time of admission. Scholarship funds are directly applied through CalCentral to LL.M. tuition costs.

Since there are only a limited number of scholarships available, there is a chance that an admitted applicant who is qualified for a particular scholarship may not be chosen to receive an award.
The Berkeley Law LL.M. admissions committee assesses academic records and supporting materials submitted with applications to determine scholarship eligibility and academic merit.
Benefits of a scholarship
Many other scholarship awards are applied to LL.M. tuition fees directly through CalCentral and cannot be used for travel, housing, or any other related costs, although some Berkeley law opportunity scholarships can be fully funded.
Applications Methods.
How to Apply: If you’re interested in applying for a scholarship at Berkeley Law School, you must first submit an application for admission to the school. For all other scholarships, all eligible approved applicants will be taken into consideration; only the African Legal Impact and Matching Consideration Scholarships require a separate application. The applicant’s provided email address will get notification of the award decision through email.
